Go Togother ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) B.E. 2562 (2019). This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
1. Data we collect
We collect: (a) Account information — name, phone number, and profile photo; (b) Identity documents — ID card and driver's license for driver verification; (c) Location data — pickup and drop-off points, and real-time location during trips; (d) Payment information — transaction records (we do not store full card details); (e) Usage data — app interactions, trip history, and ratings.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to: provide and improve the Go Togother service; verify driver identities for safety; process payments; send trip confirmations and notifications; display ratings and reviews; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and abuse.
3. Data sharing
We share limited data with: matched drivers/passengers (first name, rating, and profile photo); payment processors to handle transactions; identity verification providers; and legal authorities when required by Thai law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Trip records are kept for 3 years for legal and dispute resolution purposes. Identity documents are deleted 30 days after account closure.
5. Your rights (PDPA)
Under the PDPA, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@gotogother.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. All data is stored on secure servers. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised employees only.
